I hit control F and I can not access the field. I see the cursor blinking, but the damn task bar in Windows7 is blocking it.I have to drag the task bar to the left side in order to use the find field. There must be a better way.

I hate the task bar in win7 with a passion. IS there a way I can bring back the old XP version? I cant stand it.

Have you locked the taskbar ? (right-click on the taskbar -> lock the taskbar)

I'm very happy with win7 ...

Nope it was unlocked. I like windows7 overall, however I still do not like the new taskbar. I can not tell what apps are currently opened since they are pinned and always on there all the time. Its just plain dumb. I could care less about the aeroglass preview junk as I find it totally useless.

Its actually very clear what runs and what is just pinned.
Imo its worse to have mini icons sitting in the corner wasting space.
