True, i could have done that I was asking if someone else noticed that steam was going through their firewall (kerio 2.1.4) even though a rule to prevent steam from connecting anywhere has been set. I couldn't stop steam from connecting, even the status windows for the firewall showd a green entry for steam, meaning that there must be a rule that steam permits this, but there wasn't. I get the feeling they coded steam as a trojan or spyware shit to go through firewalls, or at least older ones like my kerio.
I did solve this shitty behaviour of steam with a second install of windows wich won't go online at all, so steam can contact my ass from now on
