mkv file/segement linking

ill give you the run down.. me and a buddy bought a couple of 1TB ext. year ago, couple months ago both bought WDTV's, the drives came in fat32, i changed mine to ntfs for better support.. the dilemma now is HiDef content and sizes.. we(i) have to split all of his 4+gig movies to size that the drive can handle....


now, since im way cool and formatted to ntfs i have no probs throwing a 12gig movie on and playing... he's got to much shit on his drive now that its a bit impossible to back up at this time and convert to ntfs.. and the splitting movies thing is getting out of hand.. SOOOOOO! somebody give me some pointers on how to split the movies, but have them linked to play as they were one single file if possible

thanks much.. i know a couple of you guys really follow these tools so help..

You can use KMPlayer. It can link segments and make them play seamlessly. Split with MKVtoolnix and do this:
