So yeah having some problems and i'm running out of ideas on how to fix the problem. So what happend was that i launched NBA2k10 ( game ) then i immidiately alt tabed to launch MSI afterburner which I did and once that was done i tabbed in again then alt tabbed and started firefox. So yeah then i tabbed in again and everything went just black. I couldn't alt tab etc so I had to restart. Once I logged on again the notifications came up to start specific programs, which I did. However my computer seem to be going a bit crazy at the moment. When I try to start any program the notification comes up to accept it being run but after that the screen just goes black for every program. I tried to run everything from ccleaner to battlefield bad company 2. As soon as i launch a program the screen goes black and I have to restart my computer.

I've tried with going into safe mode and doing a system restore, reinstalled GPU drivers and it still doesn't work. Anybody experienced this and what can you recommend me to do? So to sum it up my computer screen turns black when i launch a program and I have to restart.

Uninstall "MSI afterburner" and try again,. Also disable any stuff that is starting up in msconfig and reboot. Sounds like you got too much junk running at once. Also, is your GPU overclocked? How bout CPU? If so, bring them back to specs.

Ah, reinstalling MSI afterburner did the trick. it was probably just clogging up. Thanks.
