As the title says, is there some disc-loader, disc-swapping method to play copied games on ps2 (some slim version, a friend has one,doesn't wanna chip it)

since it's a slim he needs the one that's sold with flip top cover.

1) So, either I pay for flip top cover, install it and burn Swap Magic to a disc and use that.

2) Or I have to pay for a special mem card ? Or can I write the loader to my own somehow ?

3) Or I pay to have it chipped ?

Can't it be done free, damnit ?

Anyone with a modded PS2 can put a loader on your memory card, so if you find someone who has one then they can do it for you.
I've also seen people on various forums who you can send a memory card to and they will put a loader on it and send it back to you (might not be free, or maybe on a donation basis, dunno)

I don't think you can do it yourself, other than maybe with a ps2 memory card reader for a PC.

I found out that I would need the original Cds of Swap Magic AND a flipt op part. Like fuck am I paying this money for changing dvds like a chimp every time I wanna play a game.

I am willing to buy a usb ps2 memcard reader if it's the only thing needed. Any insight ?
