He was a mediocre actor who had 2 good movies to brag about imo (The Lost Boys and Silverbullet...and silverbullet isnt that great either).

My wife likes terrible TV so I saw him not that long ago in a reality show geared towards getting his life back together. he failed at this, show was cancelled, now he died. not really surprising.
