Reads discs, used to write discs, but now using IMGBURN and XBOX Backup Creator, I get stuck; it doesn't give a bad burn - just doesn't burn at all. This just started recently - XBOX gets stuck on "Initializing Writer" and Imgburn gets stuck on "Setting LO Data Zone Capacity". Sad Is it time to replace my burner?

Try it on another PC. Try to find updated firmware.

If I don't have to spend money I wont. Seems silly to throw money at a problem, if the fix is free.

@VG sadly, this is my only PC. I will check for updated firmware.

well if problem persist whether update will help or not u will have to replace it to resolve the silly problem, no?
