This victory makes me think of all those times Canadians moan and whine about other nations running up the score against worse teams. They really get annoyed about it, they feel that you should stop scoring once it's clear that you are going to win.
Interesting to note that this does not apply to Canada itself..........

Yeah if we win Sweden, we'll have score lead and easiest opponent in the quarterfinals.

Sweden hasn't impressed me this tournament so far so I guess we have a good shot at winning them.

I'm surprised you haven't learned how Sweden plays yet. Finland usually keeps going at a high tempo all the time and really pummels teams like Latvia, Germany, Belarus and so on. Sweden however isn't like that at all, they rarely pummel worse teams. Haven't you heard the thing you always say about Sweden, the better the opposition the better they play.
Listen it's not like I'm super impressed either as a Swede but i know that the first two games meant little other than the points they got. They weren't interested in running up the score. And please remember that our starting goalie Lundqvist has been great so far and the one who let Belarus score was Gustavsson (our backup).

Canada against Russia in the quarterfinals, funny since some predicted this to be the final but the Canadians ruined that with a loss yesterday
