More specifically Enterprise and TOS, I really loved those shows, I recently watched them both again (1080p versions) and had forgot quite how much I miss them.
While I spewed every time TNG and Voyager came on (political correctness) it took being without ST that made me realize how much they were a part of my life.[sniff]
Are there any new Star Trek tv shows being developed?

Cochrane will find a way

Of course, Edelstein's conclusions are based on current scientific knowledge. No doubt future spacecraft designers will deploy advanced radiation-resistant alloys and magnetic shielding to protect Federation staff from instant death. |
sigh.
ps: which is the 'nodding' episode?

I at some point just started looking for some other older SF series and although they are not particular good SF series I still enjoyed watching Farscape, Andromeda, etc.
The SG Universe series should start again this month but nah can't say I really like it.

Farscape is ok enough to watch; there really aren't that many scifi shows set in space, let alone good ones. Babylon 5, BSG, Firefly and Star Trek series are imo the only truly great ones, Stargate doesn't really compare (tho all eps with RDA get +10 cool points).

for me its definately a tie between farscape and b5 for best sci-fi show. i really cant pick which i prefer. b5 has epic scope, but farscape has a better core group of characters (because the show was so focused).
gonna be a long time (if ever) before we see another great sci-fi series...

B5 had 2-3 brillaint seasons imo while Farscape was better overall. So Farscape wins. It's really a shame scifi shows don't get a chance and if they do they're spit on every time by the execs.

B5 rocked and so did Threshold till the network involved execubots in the script writing.

Eureka's new season should be starting soon (isn't that a summer show?) and SG:U isn't over yet.
Caprica....one of the worst attempts at serious Sci Fi EVER.
I'd like to see a new Star Trek tv show as well. Where they left off either from the end of Voyager or from Star Trek: Nemesis.
Not another series that takes places before TNG's timeline.....Star Trek: Enterprise....fucking horrible. Bakula just sucks all around. Quantum Leap was ok for its day but he takes the cake as the worst Captain...well, a tie between him and Janeway (hate her).
