If you're still playing Bethesda's multiplayer-focused shooter Brink but have grown bored with the content that was available at launch, the publisher has good news for you: DLC for the game is launching next week, and you can even grab it for free if you act quickly.
The "Agents of Change" DLC goes live on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Steam on Wednesday, August 3, adding two new maps, five new abilities, a bunch of achievements/trophies, and various other goodies to the game. Best of all, if you download the DLC in the first two weeks that it's available, it's completely free of cost. After that window, the DLC will cost $9.99 (or 800 Microsoft Points if you're purchasing on 360).
In preparation for the upcoming new content, Bethesda also just released a title update for Brink that optimizes the online play. You can get full details on the patch on Bethesda Blog
