Spoiler: | The orders are simple: hunt down and execute a rogue agent that has stolen top-secret intelligence and millions in Agency cash. For agent Rico Rodriguez, the mission is anything but routine. The target is Tom Sheldon, Rico’s former commanding officer, mentor and friend; a man who knows Rico better than he knows himself.
Sheldon went dark while operating in the corrupt island nation of Panau. There, three rival gangs wage war in the streets while the ruthless dictator Baby Panay rules the island with an iron fist. With the resources of the Agency at his disposal, Rico must infiltrate the island and locate Sheldon, setting off a violent chain of events that will set Panau ablaze.
Each of Rico’s assignments can be tackled by land, sea or air with more than 100 vehicles including tactical jeeps, attack helicopters and jet fighters. As the Agency’s best, Rico can execute a range of breathtaking new stunts, utilizing his trademark parachute and upgraded grapple to reach any location in Panau. Somewhere on the 400 square mile island of white sand beaches, scorching deserts and snow-capped peaks, Sheldon awaits. |

Amazing news for PS3 owners:
Built-In Video Capture To Ship With Just Cause 2!
Spoiler: | PlayStation players to publish their greatest achievements to YouTube
Friday 22nd January/... Square Enix London Studios, a part of Square Enix Europe, today announced that Just Cause 2 for the
PlayStation 3 will ship with a built-in video capture feature, allowing players to record clips of their greatest in-game exploits
and upload directly to YouTube.
With some of the most incredible emergent action sequences seen in any game, Just Cause 2 frequently features moments which simply
defy description. Moments where the physics, gameplay and AI all come together to create an over-the-top stunt or spontaneously
chaotic scene of carnage players will want to watch again and again. By activating Just Cause 2’s video capture feature, players will
be able to automatically record the last 30 seconds of gameplay directly to the PlayStation 3’s hard drive and upload to YouTube.
BASE jumped from the highest bridge in the game? Captured. Jumped out of a jet fighter and crashed into an oil rig? Recorded.
Parachuted off a cliff onto a passing helicopter, laying waste to a military harbour with missiles, before ejecting, skydiving down
through enemy flak, grappling soldiers to passing aircraft, leaving nothing but the smoking remains of the military might? Saved,
uploaded and published for the world to see.
Also available from the in-game menu is a 10 minute capture feature which allows players to create more detailed and planned
presentations. Gamers will be able to capture and share in-game mission walkthroughs, create online speed-run competitions, direct
their own South East Asian-inspired Machinima and more, with the best YouTube videos linked from the official website allowing users
to vote on their favourites, with prizes awarded for the best of the best.
As Rico Rodriguez, the Agency's most powerful weapon, players must take on the island of Panau and its military regime in order to
track down Rico's former boss and mentor, Tom Sheldon, who has gone rogue with millions in Agency cash and intel. Using a unique
grapple and parachute combination, there is no vertical limit as the air becomes your playground: grapple a passing plane in flight,
hijack helicopters, BASE jump from the tallest buildings or mountains and leave a trail of chaos and destruction in your wake. Just
Cause 2 offers players the freedom to tackle missions any way they choose and, with over 100 vehicles and countless upgrades and
collectibles, the choices for relentless adrenaline-fuelled action are limitless.
Just Cause 2’s video capture and upload feature will be available exclusively for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.
Just Cause 2 will also ship for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Games for Windows® and will be
released under the EIDOS brand portfolio. All formats will release in-stores on March 23rd, 2010, in North America and March 26th,
2010, in Europe, Middle East, and Australasia. More information is available on the official website at www.justcause.com. |

brilliant for people with slow upload like me...
well lets just pirate the xbox version and wait until the ps3 has been hacked to play backups. Still downloading blu-rays is a pain in the ass...

You should never mouth off till you know the facts, I love games NOT platforms.
As for the 360 not being in the subject line well boo hoo, there are plenty of titles which don't mention the PS3 in the subject line but you don't see people crying......
But I'll give baby his bottle if it makes him happy

Loved the first one, definitely getting the second. It sucks that only the PS3 version gets to upload gameplay vids (quite a few PS3 games, either multiplatform or exclusive, get yummy tech like being able to take screenshots or upload YT vids... it's a shame MS are so narrow-sighted that they won't allow that on the 360) but the game itself will be the same and that's all most of us care about =)

Where have you been in outer space?
There has been a way to play backups for years all you need is the right PS3 and a blu ray burner.
As for only talking about games that 'we' can pirate who put you in charge?

As far as I was aware, the ONLY backup that ever worked on the PS3 was "Motor Storm" :\

Why would I put pc in the console section?
Before I wrote the OP I had already checked that the PC section had it's own topic.
But let the baby have his bottle

They do say that the emptiest vessels make the most noise and the above is a prime example.
As for blowing your own trumpet well..........its quite bland nor contains any informative links , a fine reflection of its creator perhaps?
