Let me explain the goddamn situation: At work, we all sit in a large open spaced room, with desks sort of "strategically" placed so people who work with similar things are grouped together. Anyway, one of my coworkers has a set of PC speakers, on wich she streams the most mainstream radio station in Sweden. Every day. Five days a week.
This piece of goddamn fucking shit of a station plays the same songs EVERY FUCKING DAY BACK TO BACK. CONSTANT, BRANDEAD, SOUL-LESS BULLSHIT POP MUSIC.
Now, thankfully, i have a set of circumaural headphones (so not in-ear ones) and a few gigs of mp3's (and thank god for mp3-blogs) so i can escape from the fucking shit music whenever i want. But, i don't want to/can't have them on all day, i need to be able to communicate with the people around me and so on, so i inevitably hear the fucking radio alot of time during the day. And I fucking hate it  I can handle it for a few days, but then it just fucking drives me crazy, HOW THE FUCK CAN PEOPLE NOT GET SICK OF THIS? THE SAME SONG IS PLAYED ATLEAST FIFTEEN TIMES A DAY! Arrrrghhh FUCK!

My first job, working in a chocolate factory in England, had the SAME fucking shit all the time. They'd play the radio while we worked and I swear to god, I must have heard that Lucretia McNeal song "Ain't That Just The Way" at least three to four HUNDRED times in less than 3 months. Loud too. Playing over the radio and tannoy system every single god damned fucking hour of the god damned fucking day.
It drove me batshit insane. I swear, I now have a VERY powerful hatred of that song.

The TVs at my work are tuned to MTV.
It plays the same goddamn lame rap/pop songs 100 times every hour.
Fucking Sir GaGa, Gay-Z and that fucker Michael Buble and his stupid clip.
Oh and can't forget that blonde bitch everyone is praising for some reason, the one with the clip where she gets kicked out of her parents' home for some reason, probably because she's a cunt.
Fucking MTV sucks.

I don't listen to radio anymore since I don't work, lol. But well earlier I always listened to mainstream norwegian radio and yes... it gets kinda annoying to listen to their top 20 -.-

euhm, isnt it standard courtesy to not have speakers i a room with 1+ people? We are sitting here with 6 in 1 room and all have head phones.

I would ask her to turn it off or use headphones. If she didn't I would bring in some speakers myself and play metal, see how she likes it.
