Does anyone have or could write me a small guide on how to set up a some sort of auto-downloading schedule from Newzbin?

I'm using Alt.Binz and want to have TV-shows and stuff auto-downloaded from Newzbin, if this is possible.. Any ideas? Smile

hellanzb, it can autoscan a directory for nzb's and autoqueue, really handy together with an ssh daemon. It can autodownload nzb's from newzbin.com and download their contents whilst checking for dupe. It autochecks for errors and downloads pars when necessary and then fixes the errors.
It's open source and it uses very little resources when it's idling.

You have a perfect client just for that job. Just go to RSS tab, select feed, add filters and off you go. But I'm not sure if it'll work with Newzbin because I don't use that. It works perfectly with newzleech and binsearch, so if Newzbin has RSS it should work too. Make sure you have the latest Alt.Binz version which is 0.28.5

This is also an option, just that i have never added an RSS-feed for application-specific uses.

And another thing!
I've set Alt.Binz to download, repair, extract and then delete the RAR's and PAR's, but many times the RAR-files aren't deleted, sometimes the PAR-files aren't deleted, sometimes none of them are.. Anyone know what's wrong?

People are being threatened with bans for discussing this in the games section. Are we allowed to discuss this here? I have a question about an indexing site, but maybe I should ask on some other board.

Epsilon: Game is great btw, I love it, so far it's a definite goty. It's remarkable how much has changed since the beta, stardock have been working their asses off, and it shows.

People are being banned for posting links to sites that index, or contain, copyrighted software, talking about them is different. Basically we just need to guard ourself against bots, that might roam the site and scan for links to copyrighted content.
So talk away.
