okay, sometimes I get movies with .srt (subtitle) files and I have no idea how to use it..can someone explain how to get the srt to go into the divx movie or how to view the subtitles with the movie? thanks =)

make sure they have the same name.
Example : movie.avi and movie.srt

make sure you got vobsub installed. Just google it and you won't miss it.

Vobsub sets it all up once you have it installed and the movie and the .srt file has the same name.

Yea it works but stupid subs are in german, why cant people simply put a nfo stating that when they upload it =/

Subs are not stupid.Since it in srt, it means you can easily open them in any text editor to check them.
One more thing you don't actually need vob sub installed, if you have some good players,supporting the format (like MPC or BSplayer or whatever)

Get bsplayer and mount the .srt file after loading the avi file. That's what works out best for me.

You can get .SRT and other subtitle formats for the movies you watch off the internet if you do a search - plenty of languages including major & obscure ones are catered for.
