saw the trailer for this ages back and i liked it, it looked like a shitload of fun. its kinda like tron more than stay alive, where the story is from the point of view of people inside the game playing it.
im more than happy to give it a chance, i think it'll be a cool movie. not epic, but fun.
Yeah, Crank was a shitty movie plot/story/whatever-wise, but I still enjoyed seeing both of them, alot actually
i thought crank was horrible , ok , it wasnt extremly bad like Death Sentence (i'm never gonna get those 2 hours back) .
Gamer i think is a little better , even tho the execution isnt great , the general concept of things is pretty good , how the game 'world' works and stuff like that .

so whats the verdict? 1080 worthy? i mean is this like one of the top 10 most epic and action packed films of the year, orrrrrrrr is it fun but forgettable.

it's not bad, but it ain't exactly the next transformers either. if space/bw cap is an issue, 720p should be just fine.

load of bs. theres a point where the extra time and bandwidth is wasted for the returns you get in regards to the quality of the film. theres plenty of cases where 'high quality' just isnt worth the movie, and a shitty dvdrip will do.

Yes, but this is a poor comparison. Flac is uncompressed and should be compared to full BluRays. 1080p rips are more like lame V2: very compressed but still high qualiity.

its pure ignorance to dismiss someones interpretation of a movie just because it doesnt mesh with yours. you are no more correct than i am. but if you're that guy from the d9 thread, then i guess such an ill informed silly answer is to be expected.
