I have always been a fan of displays - currently i run dual 24 inch lcds - one 22 inch 3d and a projector all hooked together - anyway, its holiday season here and there are deals for lcd (talking about televisions) everywhere - i especially started noticing a large number of 37 - 38" sized 1080P lcd screens - my question is what do u guys thing about using these as pc monitors - how are they on your eyes after extensive use - is there any difference with how close you sit to the tv display even tho its a lcd ... does anyone use such a display by any chance? i found a visio 37 inch 1080P display on some super sale for 399!!! Smile or was thinking about the samsung 37 inch 1080P 120hz display

your talking about tvs pretty much for a computer monitor - just think once you go so big - eventually your going to have to start looking up down left and right not just your eyes but your entire head - if you can afford it go for it - but i bet your going to get a crick in your neck...

office work etc on a lcd tv just plain sucks. screw it on the wall and get a comfortable chair, so you have at least 1-2m view distance
