No, i am not downloading games saves from the web!
But i have a problem.
Got 2 xbox 360's here
Played some games on my old xbox and got pretty far with some
now i wanne know if i can move save games from my old 20gb hdd to my new 120gb hdd.
They are saved with the same gamertag
I know i can do it with that cable from microsoft, but that moves all the data from the 20gb to the 120gb, and then my 20gb hdd is empty ( and i have a mad gf )
Anyone know any tips?
ps : not really want to buy a memory card
ps2 : just found out that the disc that comes with my transfer cable (dealextreme) has no transfer disk :')!!!!
I did something like this when I bought my 120GB HDD
and wanted to move my stuff over from the 20GB HDD
It works and allows you to keep the exsiting data so nothing is lost.
You will have to hookup the HD to your PC.
The Xbox360 saves are usually in /content/<profileID>/<titleID>/ of partition3 on your Xbox 360 HD. Xbox 360 gamesaves can be transfered to another Xbox 360 console and profile, but all 'LIVE achievements' will be disabled of course (achievements are linked to the LIVE profile)
Now, since your using the same gamertag your Live achievements should work just fine.
I have not tested this since I don't play on Live but I did have all of my gamerscore and my saves worked for every game.
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
