Anyone have a solution to this ?

4. When asked for serial, just input something - DON'T LEAVE IT EMPTY!

So I enter different numbers and also tried number, letter combos and always recieve wrong serial message and installation quits after 3 tries :{

check your windows drive to make sure the temp folder is empty.. also make sure it has enough room to decompress the files while installing.

Lol, dude wtf ! Laughing

Install it to another PC and copy the whole installation folder to your PC. Maybe the reg tree also, usually not needed.

i played this for about 13 min. omg. this game is like playing with stick figures. i'm playing 2560x1600 resolution and the troops look like tiny ants. i don't even think it's 3d since you only can view from top-down. also what's with the standard window gui for options in game? forget it. uninstall.

The OP's problems are caused by an incorrectly seated cpu heatsink. Disassemble your PC, and re-seat your cooler (apply thermal paste). Then the serial number will be valid, and you won't get the error messages anymore..
