My friend just called me up yesterday saying that he had accidentally upgraded his modded PSP Slim 2000's firmware to 6.10. Now he can't play and cso files through his memory card. Now is there an easy way by which I can flash his firmware to a custom one which would allow him to play those titles again?
I have heard there are 2 types of mod; hardware and soft-mod. I would rule out the possibility of hardware mod as it involves removing battery and making it use as a pandora battery or something like that, which I ain't ready to do. So could someone brief me in on how to actually perform a soft mod? What tools will I be needing, heck even a proper YouTube video link would be great help?
Thanks to all in advance.
PS: Please suggest a method which would not brick the handheld.
u cant softmod it as far as im aware if u upgraded to 6.10 sony. pandoras battery is the only way as far as i know
u cannot ACCIDENTALLY upgrade from a CFW, its not possible. there are numerous warnings when u do so, so somewhere along the line some innocent lies are being told
