Runaway: A Twist of Fate
Quote: |
The third and final adventure for Brian and Gina, Runaway: A Twist of Fate brings to a close this wild adventure saga. After a colorful second episode which took place in the islands of Hawaii, the creators of the game lead us into a more mature and urban universe for this last adventure. Following the story of the previous game, A Twist of Fate is also very much an independent game allowing players that have never played a Runaway game before to fully enjoy this brand new adventure. For the very first time in the Runaway series, the game will allow you to control Brian as well as Gina who has an important part to play in the story.

The first one wasnt too bad for me. As for the second one, it became pretty boring right at the beginning.
The third one will only land on my hdd after it gets some good reviews by people who like that sort of game.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

lhzr u are very wrong man, this quests are the best games in adventure genre, and there are a lot of fans! the thing is that it is an adventure, and it should be understood like it first of al, and look on the jenre and market of such jenre games - its rarity and artifact! detective story, logical story line, pretty multiplication graphic(its really pro everywhere and disign work at first), very nice music - thats all makes this series enjoyable for every quest and adventure fan! i am glad that it will be 3 part of it, hope it will be very interesting and better even then others parts! waiting it!

Game has apparently been delayed to Q1 2010.
@lhzr: some of the puzzles are a bit absurd, that's true, but they're far from the worst adventure games availabe...

agree, i think the first one stored some potencial inside, but the potencial never really came out. one great adventure game was broken sword ,i feel like i want's to play it again now:)

I liked the first Runaway a lot, it was a nice funny and charming adventure. Gotta finish the second one some time.

|
 |
I have pre ordered the game throught metaboli.co.uk games site the release date there for buying and downloading is the 19/11/2009 and its the release date for long time it didnt change .
Also i followed the german version of the game for download and buy throught gamesplanet.com/de and the release date there was 13/11/2009 then they changed it to the 19/11/2009 same as the english version .
I think the Q1 2010 stand for the retail box in stores .
Cuz if it was Q1 2010 why the download version say 19/11/2009 and it didnt change ? Even its 3-4 says before the 19/11/2009 .
I mean the metaboli download site is directly connected to the game official site .
Strange but i hope its true and the date wont change in the next few days .

|
 |
But now i see the german version and its 28 files of 100mb each files .
Thats about 2.8GB .
So lets say after extract the files so the iso file will be maybe 3-4GB .
And after we install the game how big can it be ? 4-5gb ?
But why did they say in the official site that we will need 8GB of space on hard disk ?
Is it any logical ?
