Any predictions for this year? I personally like my Chicago Blackhawks (of course) to do great things this year but I have some concerns with the goal tending situation. I think if Huey or Niemi can get on a solid streak we will be seeing a Hawks/Penguins Stanley Cup Series. Your thoughts?

Russia > Canada > Sweden > Finland/Czech or something like that would be my guess.

Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, Semin, Datsyuk, Malkin etc.

Wouldn't surprise me if Canada wins but IMO Russia has by far the best team. Swe - Fin for gold again would be awesome though.

Toronto - Devils should be a great game tonight with Kovalchuk going to Devils and all.

I was hoping Kovalchuk was coming to Chicago. Oh well Smile

Great move by the devils though. They might just be giving the Capitals a run for their money by the time the playoffs come around.

Better Hawks than Philly.

I still wanted a Det-Chi WCF though. Sad

Great game. The Flyers didn't quit and came back to tied the game so props to them. I was nervous as hell in overtime because the Hawks lost an overtime game before in the series. Then early in overtime, Patrick Kane made that nice shot under the Flyers goalkeeper's, Leighton, legs and the puck got stuck in the net. The light didn't go on the entire game when the Hawks scored, so a lot people were still waiting for the official words which made it anticlimactic. It was a exciting series. Great job for the young Hawks.

If you hate it, ignore it.
