Are you serious? This is exactly the kind of thing that people who want to stand out and above the masses have in their homes. They don't want something with fan-blades cluttering up their designer house and clash with their designer crap. They need something that doesn't look like it belongs to the industrial revolution. Something that reflects their passion for 'simple elegance', aesthetics and all that kind of crap. This kind of shit is one of the stones on the path to yuppiedom. This, and things like this become must haves and conversation pieces for the Segway crowd.
