If someone uses the Deviance release of UT2004 to play online (using the online 'enabler' hack) and is banned by the UTAN system for having a warez CD key, it blocks your IP address too.
Is the IP block permanent or just for that game session?
If the person then bought the full version of UT2004 with a legit CD key, would they still be banned from all UTAN-enabled servers because of their IP address? If so, is there a way of getting the ban revoked?
(Assume the person can't get a new IP address as theirs is fixed)

It has to be temporary ban, because all doesn't have fixed address.
