I noticed about 2 days ago that my memory stick duo access light is always on. I had to spend like 30 minutes on google even trying to figure out what the light is. Its always on and always orange. Anyone know why it'd be doing that? I haven't updated or changed the firmware on it in a few months.

and I should mention that its even on when the PSP is switched off. It will only turn off if I take out the battery but immediately comes back on if I put the battery back in. Its a slightly duller orange than normal and when its actually accessing the memory stick it'll brighten up.

Seems the light just broke. Can you try with the MS removed ? Or with another MS ?

Even with no memory stick its still on. It seems odd that it would break "on". normally don't these things break off and just never work again?

have you ever heard of that light being stuck on before?
I haven't turned up much on google.

It's not really odd, actually. The connector (or whatever the right word is) just glitched.

Tap it a little, maybe it's fix itself, lol
