3rd move in 6 months Neutral Cool Face

Decided that I want to live somewhere a little cheaper to save up money for some time. Current house is nice but costs a lot to keep and I have little money left when bills are out.

Found a nice fully furnished apartment with a sea view for very cheap, with my girlfriend to live there too.

Now we can save up some nice amount of money to go traveling Very Happy something I always wanted to do..

Meh I dunno how long it takes for estate agents to process rentals, i never rented through an agency before, only private landlord and mortgage. Does it take some time for them to process application / deposit / reference consulting? mah.. I hate waiting around Very Happy

I don't see how sea view can matter in britain, matter of fact it would only be quite depressing with all the clouds and giant waves
no wonder it's cheap Cool Face

I dunno, that could be pretty sweet... Depending on how giant the waves would be - they'd have to be pretty big, not some crappy small ones. Very Happy

This is true. But still, sometimes we do have sunny days and I imagine it will look quite nice. And well, I kinda like depressing/rainy weather, the sun is evil.

actually, neither of us want kids. She hates them, I dont mind them too much but I'm way too busy to have one right now. I probably never will - not something I see myself happy with.

Living in Ghent atm and paying 600 euros for a studio. These prices here are ridiculous. A good thing i am earning good money though.

I know a couple, both 20, that pays 900 euros for a studio.

240 for a mortgage, djeez, impossible here. standard small house around my corner with 2 bedrooms are selling 175k-200k euros.

I would hate to pay rent that costs more than getting a mortgage. I will be back to renting after I sell my house, but I don't want to be spending more than £100 a week on rent.. Preferably £100 per week including bills would be nice.

I'm paying $1260/ £727 a month (includes heat and hydro) ... it's not too bad considering houses in my area start at about $600K/£350K (which is about a $3200/mth mortgage payment, not including utilities or property taxes)

I'm sure we don't need a 3br place until after we pop out a kid, but this is what we have to look forward to in the next couple of years :/

ooohh ... this is "nice", 1 bdrm apt for $500K + $1K extra per month in maintenance fees Rolling Eyes
