I'm having trouble getting this avi to play... Both the sample and the movie avi causes Windows Media Player / Windows Explorer to crash and restart. I tried playing it with Media Player Classic and causes the same problem.

I know about the bug in Windows Explorer mishandling corrupted avi files. But I checked the CRC... Anyone else having trouble with this release Question

Glad someone finally had an intelligent answer (was almost ready to trash it). Thanks for that! I've been using Nic's Xvid since day one without any problems. This release has been the first one I've encountered problems playing.

For Mutantius: It is definitely entertaining and worth watching if you're into the genre. The DVD rip is good quality but scanlines were noticable in certain scenes.
