when i was a kid and sort of older then
there was this racing game i loved
it was one of those top down racers
you had a small car which was often either blue or red
other cars were either brown or green
and you just hold a button to drive
and use dpad to go left or right
it was perfect

you'd race for 10 min and you end up racing on a beach
the levels were all the same though...

and it had that vmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm sound when you race
and you crash too and there's traffic
narrow roads
etc etc

it's not spy hunter! it's in the same style but it's older...
i think i played it on some european consoles...
