Well i didnt dl this.. but this is what i would do

grab isocraxtion unpack the iso to a dir

then look for the movie files they will either be *.bik files or i think its *.xmv files

anyway. as the movie files in games are crap and no one watches an intro or cutscenes

find the movie dir , then find the smallest movie file
use the smallest and copy it somewhere.. then rename it to overwrite the other big movie files

example

lets say you have a movie file that is called intro.bik and it is 2 meg
and you have a movie file called outro.bik that is 100 meg

then rename the intro.bik to outro.bik and overwrite the outro.bik in the dir you extracted the iso to..

do this for all the movie files or as many as you need to, to get the iso down to 4 gig..

then either copy it to your xbox hd.. or use isocraxtion to make an iso from the dir...

and burn it..

i do this all the time.. and its always worked for me

Can only assume these are like cab or pak files and are unpacked as and when needed during gameplay..

That does sound weird though??? can anyone confirm for these guys theyve got the game working?
theres gotta be at least a default.xbe file?

Someone else on here may be able to help you out

dvd9 to dvd5 patch out now by DNL, works fine also, just removes some un-important files.
