So i have been getting some fucking pink screens, green screens, even blue/yellow screens! fun isnt it? So now im gonna RMA this shit and sell the replacement to someone... Anyways i was thinking to order now 2x4890 Club 3D Superclocked cards (could get these for 400€ total), or should i wait another 100 years to get 5870 HD since these are damn hard to get from finland, every place is out of stock and no date set when they come?.
Also im never gonna buy Nvidia again, have had 7800GT it broke in less than year, 7800GTX broke in couple months, 8800GTX lasted less than 1 year and it fried... Now this pos 280GTX which didnt last even year aswell.. I gave to my friend my 5 year(ish) old X1950xtx, still running like beast, runs at like 100c lol but still works...
My main concern is tho what i have heard that radeon drivers suck majorly ass atm? So please post some opinions what i should get and what not ;>

I don't know why your hardware fails so badly, but Nvidia isn't making the cards, only the chipset. So blame the manufacturers.
And don't fork out so much money, be smart !
Until recently I had an old 7800gtx by ASUS, that thing reached 100+ under load, but lasted like 4 years (well, I bought it when that chipset was just out anyway)

Who are you talking to ? Both Breezer and me talked about cards that run at high temps but still work fine after ~4 years.
(He didn't mention if his cards that faulted were running at normal temps, I suppose they were)

I have this problem with color screen hardlocks but when i tried to manually remove RAM and put it back the problem disappeared.
But couple of days later it's returned again with the same color shit.
So it must be my RAM or MB Dimms are fucked. Check it out maybe your RAM is faulty.

So what's the next best video card coming out both flavors?
I'll prolly get a 295gtx if they ever drop in price...
I'm planning on getting a Antec 1200 and a custom fan to keep the temps under control, my Q9550 idles around 35-40 right now as things are.

lol the 5850 keeps up with that card and uses about 100watts LESS power. But that's if you feel like getting an ATI card, if you stick with nvidia, I couldn't see what would need more than a 260 unless you got huge massive freakin monitor.

You should just keep the 275, but if you wanna burn some money on dualcarding then good work !
Who needs money anyway ?

Benchmarks on TF2? 1000000fps. Seriously, that game is using such an outdated engine, even 3-4 year old cards will give you amazing results, certainly more than then any high refresh rate monitor you throw at them.

Dude, Team Fortress 2 is a very light game, I am not impressed.
On my gtx260 I'd just ramp everything up on max settings and start playing, no sweat, seriously.
MSAA is antialiasing, gets rid of jaggies.
Benchmarking TF2 is useless.
