My colleague has bought 2 from here;

http://www.leedsfestival2009.com/

and she's now found out it's a fake site. Anybody else ever bought fake ones, or have any advice for her. She's on the phone to the police now.

Also, any way of digging up more information on these pricks?

Only thing to do(if she's paid by credit card) is to revoke the payment at her bank preferably by bringing her complaint to the police, with her so the bank can see that it is a fake site.

It looks as if they havent taken the payment from her, she's called the bank and they can't see any transaction.

Idd, be sure to find out WHAT bank details. Was it card number and CSV? or was it account number, sort code, full address? If it was the later she will need to change her entire account not just her cards..

p.s. @ your sig - I know the actor who played Billy Elliot, he is a cock.

Well when buying on the internet it's usually sort code, account number, expiry date, csv and address. So she's gonna have to change the whole lot.

How do you know Billy Elliot?

Yes she will. And that is a very good phishing website.

To be fair it looks a hell of a lot more legit than most phishing sites around. She just got fooled unluckily. It happens.
