what's the best and most succesful software to recover photo's from a formatted hdd? the hdd is still working.

my favorite one is r studio, getdataback gets good results as well

thanks for the reply! do you have a lot of experience with respect to data recovery.

it is a 2.5" sata hdd (laptop) reformatted with the original factory restore disk. error after installation (not hdd failure) reformatted/installed ultimate vista. error after installation. reinstalled xp pro. also error after installation.

the problem is caused by duying cpu. do you think we can still recover photos from this hdd? the hdd is 3x formatted :s i will try to recover as much as possible this weekend. it will be hard, not to say impossible!

I had all sorts of HDD lost data, and without knowing fuck all GetDataBack worked like a charm Smile
