I was catching a flight back from Ibiza after a crazy week of non stop party and these Myair fucktards completely screwed me. After waiting for 12 hours all through the night they cancled the flight. The plane was on the tarmac but it seems the company ran out of money to pay for fuel and taxes. So right now I'm back in Ibiza town waiting for another flight from another company so I can get home.
What are my options? How can I rape these bastards who didn't even have the dignity to tells us what is going on and basicaly left us to rot at the airport ? I'd really like to get compensated not just for the tickets but some sort of compensation for time lost.
While we're on the topic, any of you have any insight into how Vueling is doing?
planning on booking a flight now for October 17th (madrid-barcelona) and it would be a shame if those motherfuckers went out of business, especially with a 19 euro flight cost
i dont understand why people fly with semi bankrupt companies to a distant airport from where you need to take an expensive train or taxi to be in the normal world.
I flew with RyanAir some years ago from 'Brussels' to 'Rome'. In reality from Charleroi to Camponelli - something like that. Ok, flight is 20-30-40 euro, cannot remember, but you need a 20-30 train/bus transit ticket. And you have no baggage space and no comfort.
This summer I flew with SN Brussels from Brussels to Geneva for 49 euros, had comfort, and no transits needed. And in March I flew from Brussels to San Diego and back for 380 euros with US airways and i booked 5 days before i left. Why make a 10 euro squeeze and lose hours getting to and from the secondary airports and risk of stranding somewhere because the company is bankrupt?
If you choose a good date and take a late or early flight, there are always tickets for a competetive price (as good as a low budget company) in decent companies. Normally wednesdays and thursdays are cheaper and taking a very early or late flight is also cheaper. It is funny to see that the same flight can be 50 euros at a particular time and be 600 12h later, but that is just the way it is. You can fligh HQ cheap if you book wisely

ok well after some checking they are obviously not anywhere close to bankrupt.
They fly directly out of the main airports as well, not to mention that I'm not such a prima donna that can't be cramped for the epic 1h30m flight
