i bought a used 360 today buying a hdd tomorrow
so far i like it... glad i did or something a fanboy would say...
i rarely play games and shit but thought i'd get into it since i dun wanna buy a new pc system
anywho
even if i run at 1080 or 720 or even 480
the dashboard or what gay it is... looks fine...
but game images are slightly bigger than the image on the tv...
like the games use 120% of the screen and the screen only shows 100%
so a lot is cut off... there a setting for that or what not?
i really plugged it in when i got home from work... checked out gears of war for a sec and the subtitles are cut off...  what's the dealio?

i'll have to check in the morning... there could be a setting on the tv or what not... but i dunno
is there a screen size setting rather than res somewhere in the settings?

can't really turn it on right cause i'll be up all night playing shit and checking it out.
and i gotta leave for work in 7 hrs. lol.
i'll check in the morning.
but i unnno
the dashboard fits perfectly on screen.
it's just the games that are zoomed in 
and it doesn't save settings either...
maybe i do need a hard drive for anything to take effect or something... gah

very right you were the tv was set on zoom
lol and the dashboard is bigger compared to what it was before lol
the buttons were just touching the tv frame, now they got soo much room :O

check the display settings on the dashboard and make sure the resolution you have is suitable for your tv...

yeah running it at 720, wide screen 
it used so i dun wanna fuck it up asap... played gears of war for like 20 min today
gonna buy devil may cry 4 today and prolly a used hard drive and then load it up to my network and have sum fuun
it's hard getting used to console gaming :'( wii was so easy to pick up... but 360... it feels like prom all over again :'(

and then flash this sucker and burn stuff JOIN THE DARK SIDE
and if your on lcd use SCAN to set the picture
