I was playing this game and i noticed that the reflections and fires are flickering and also the lightning is wrong sometimes. Can this be caused by my processor because it's dual core?

I think it's more likely by a dual GPU hardware (like SLI or CF). Smile

So than it is not my hardware. But i have played it on PS2 and i don't remember these bugs.
Maybe it's from the game itself?

Bah, don't remember. The series' releases spanned over 3+ years, and configurations changed in-between.

Could be a problem with the newer drivers. Try switching to the oldest drivers that support your card and your OS, and see if that helps. Note, that I have played the three POPs on a 8800GTX, so it should theoretically work with no problems on your 8600GT. Smile

8600GT should eat this game, it's obviously a driver issue

Well i've beaten the game again and in my opinion those bugs aren't so big. I mean sometimes the light becomes dark and some of the effects aren't right but everything else works good. It can be from the drivers but i'm not going to downgrade them now. Maybe the phisics option has something to do with it but the game doesen't support phisics or it works for all games?
