It was informative and their points were much more relevant than the crusaders' arguments. Will they change anything? Not a chance, parents will still neglect their kids and if something happens, video games will still be blamed, since they are always there to blame. That married couple made a clear point about numbers, there are too many games in homes these days to not see how ridicilously large the ratio is between gamers and postal-kids.

Although I'm not comfortable about the little kid, Harrison's involvment. They should have chosen an older, high school kid, who can actually handle a rifle. If he/she would react the way Harrison did, then fine. Using this little guy was just over the top. It might have been a valuable lesson to him, but this portion of the show did not convince me the slightest.

The rest was great though.

The best was that fat retard who hates violent video games but loves collecting and shooting real guns Laughing

A few good points made, especially the one about school football.

Yeah, its such crap, makes me wanna kill someone... Evil or Very Mad

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

agreed but I still laughed my ass off at that scene Very Happy

edit: but do you think the last scene would have the same impact if it was some high school kid? I mean, for god's sake, the kid was crying...

I bet that crying was more from the recoil rather than the shock of "zomgIshotagun".

I was refering to the fact that the kid decided he had enough after one shot, which is also clearly because of the painful recoil, just watch his face, he hit it quite a bit. I bet a normal teenager would have reacted differently since he could have held the gun normally.

The kid was a great distraction for the brainless average of TV-viewers.

Now that I think of it, the kid was a great choice. They might not have convinced me (about this part, that is), but I bet the majority of viewers ate it up. If your enemies play dirty, you should too. Manipulation at its best. Smile

granted but again that wouldn't have had the same impact right? Wink
But I agree, a teenager would probably have reacted different but then again there are more than enough gun nuts who play games and don't go around shooting shit up.
But what it did show is that playing a violent video game doesn't prepare you at all for shooting a real gun and wasn't that the point they tried to make?

edit: I am so getting everything from that show, I can't believe how I didn't know about that until now

Edited my message, we basicly said the same thing just differently. Smile

I remember I saw these guys in Futurama for the first time and now I had to think hard to remember from where they were so familiar. Smile

You'll enjoy it, this show is one of my favorites. You'll be shocked by some episodes and stuff that people believe in. Damn this is getting offtopic so I'll stop Laughing

With the same reasoning, what do people that play a lot of platform games do, they jump of builings more then the average person? Maybe they collect more coins (make more money) than the average person? Very Happy

Well, started watching and it's a good show. The UFO abduction one was especially hillarious.

Yep. That one was clearly one of the best moments, but my favorite was when the black girl was talking about her "cute little wedding ceremony" with her alien husband. It was hillarious and sad at the same time.
