I think Nvidia made a good move here after ATI agreements working with Microsoft on the GPU for its next-generation console.

Yep, should have posted in the "General" section. Sorry.
Console section is too dry.
Anyway its still good to have PC Gamers opinions on this.

The battle between ATi and nVidia for market-share is at a fever-pitch right now. This should come as no suprise, and if you consider how popular the PS2 is over the xbox (in terms of the number of games AND the number of PS2s sold) it's a smart choice for nVidia. Get a good hold on the console market to help balance out the precarious hold over the PC arena... and get some good exposure, too.
At any rate, it'll help competition not only between ATi and nVidia, but between Sony and MS as well. This can only be seen as good. Unless they fuck up the PS3, heh.
