This game was incredibe, There are copies on ebay going right now for between £40-100, crazy shit..
But I can understand why. It was a work of pure art, with great tomb-raider-stylie platform puzzle play accompanied by a beautiful musical score and jaw dropping (for its time) graphics and visuals. The story, despite having little to none dialogue was one that is still in my memory as a classic 8 years on. I only wish I kept my copy..

Ico is a 2001 action-adventure video game published by Sony Computer Entertainment and released for the PlayStation 2 video game console. It was designed and directed by Fumito Ueda, who wanted to create a minimalist game around a "boy meets girl" concept. Originally planned for the PlayStation, Ico took approximately four years to develop. The team employed a "subtracting design" approach to reduce elements of gameplay that interfered with the game's setting and story in order to create a high level of immersion.
Also, the company that developed this made Shadow of Collusus which was an equally great game. Their new PS3 title is due out soon, which looks amazing.
I didn't know about their new game! I'll probably end up pre-ordering it; I own SoTC and I still play it sometimes. It's one of the few games I actually bought. I played a copy of Ico at his place but I haven't finished it yet. Didn't they re-release the platinum edition last year or so?
