Scanning for WiFi connections with XP??

I looked everywhere but i can't find how to scan WiFi with XP to find my wireless network. Im under XP SP2 on a Toshiba Satellite laptop

make sure your Wireless Zero Configuration is on in services and that you have drivers installed for wireless... That should do it...

It should automatically pop up. Are you sure you've turned on your wireless? (down under laptop on some satelite series) Try to check your network settings, make sure everything is on automatic in TCP/IP settings...

Wireless is on but this laptop was made for Vista and took me a long time to find drivers for XP so maybe the wireless drivers are not installed.

I ran an app i dowloaded to scan for networks, if i remember, it says it can't find NIC or something like that. Dont know what it means

Just checked the device manager and theres a yellow exclamation point on the wireless network adapter

Seems it was the wrong driver that was installed, installed lattest and now everything works perfectly..thanks for the help, i didnt thought about checking if the card was properly installed before you pointed that out

No problem, after I left the house (on th uni now), I thought about drivers Very Happy Glad it work now!
