drinking coke zero like its going out of business.... approximately 2L a day.... I think im going a bit overboard... but noone likes a quitter.
ALSO due to my horrible habit of not drinking water and drinking too many protein shakes (yes yes technically the shakes have some water in em same with the coke) I believe I am developing kidney stones from looking up the symptoms of very weird pains im having in my sides and crotch.

funny enough, the home remedy to get rid of kidney stones includes regular coke.
You take asparagus and distilled water and blend it up, slam the mixture then drink a whole can of warm coke.
I dunno what the fuck kind of chemical reaction it does, and it's kind of weird (seriously look it up) but it works. It's saved my dad thousands from having to go to the ER and get their sonic bath treatment to break the stones.
I think it only takes a couple days but the end result is you just piss out sand essentially, you won't even see it.

my god man stop drinking coke (or any canned beverage that isn't beer for that instance)... try some green tea or natural juice instead. If you don't care for your body, nobody else will, and it will be you feeling like shit in a few years...

Word.
I used to drink pop like crazy, coke/pepsi in particular. When I got married my wife started doing shopping and she cut that crap from my diet. If you told me back then that I would enjoy drinking water I would laugh my ass off. If you don't care for plain water mix it with a bit of juice or better yet one of those awesome juice concentrates from a polish store.
btw. before water i binged on home made iced tea.

And stop drinking it that much, that's seriously messed up.

At least I can tell the difference. But I really can't argument that it's a different percentage than 95% but then neither could you.

I have to agree, Coca Cola is the only drink where the sugar-free version tastes pretty much exactly like normal.
Not that I drink Coca Cola though, but still, it tastest almost exactly the same and not shit like every other sugar-free thing.

And no, the sugar reduced shit wont save you from diabetes, because AFAIK your body can not distinguish between sugar and artificial sweeteners and releases the same amount of insulin. This is why you also get a bit more hungry and also can't lose much weight while taking artificial sweeteners, because the insulin in your blood will prevent you from burning fat.
So you stay fat, have the same risk to become diabetic and are more hungry BUT you won't actually gain unnecessary energy through the sugar.
Oh and some of the artificial sweeteners are suspected to cause cancer.. But then again, WHAT DOES NOT CAUSE CANCER

There is a difference between regular and coke zero. Coke zero tastes bland to me, while regular is too sweet so I don't drink it.
If I had to choose I'd take Pepsi lemon or Sprite, but I avoid those kind of drinks in general...

What? If what pumpy said about coke zero spiking insulin levels is true then I will go on a rampage.
Also how is coke zero similar to Pepsi max? Pepsi max here is marketed as an energy drink with twice the caffeine and taurine and blabla... I believe it has sugar though? Not sure.... Coke zero just has zero calories. I don't even know what coke light is.

I've been saying that I need to cut down for 20 years..
I drink 2-3 liters of MT dew a day....Started when I was in construction, was the only soda that didn't taste like total ass to me warm (hard to keep a cold drink 8 hours outside).
And now at 39 years old, I still guzzle 2-3 liters a day. Cant be good for me, 1500+ calories a day just from my drink, not to mention the other crap in it 
But trying to goto just water I cant do. And when I make tea, I put a cup of sugar in 3 quarts so it tastes how Im use to tea tasting..so its not any better for me..
