No one knows, no one will know, no one can know. You took a risk the moment you flashed the FW. There are no secret MS employees here that can tell you it's all dandy.
But if it will make you feel better, yes it is very safe. You'll even get a cookie once you go online.

Hahhahaa. I know I took a risk. I took another very critical risk to play Guitar Hero Metallica (patched). I don't really care to get banned. As long as I can play 3rd wave games (single). Even I like to play online (fifa09), I don't really care. But honestly, I'm scared to get banned. hahhaa.

3rd wave only came out this year mate, so nobody will get banned YET. MS bans in waves, which are usually in November every year --- so if there are any bans coming due to patched 3rd Wave titles, or even just flashing the drive in general, then you'll hear about them in this coming November.

oww just let em ban me lol.
The funny thing is, my X360 always breaks down within the year.
So banned or not eventually i am not banned anymore because they replace my xbox each time.
I am sure there are more people like me who get a new box each years, because the damn thing undergoes a meltdown haha.

MS no longer repair banned consoles. When I had problems with mine they flat out refused to touch it. Luckily I was able to repair it myself.

Yup, your warranty is void because you flashed your xbox and as soon as it is banned it is known to microsoft that you have flashed it.

Well then you were lucky. I know that it used to be that it wasn't a problem to have them repaired if the were banned but now it usually is. As soon as they took my serial number they declined straight away because it was banned.

Did you call them or did you use the website? Maybe they only check if you're banned on the phone.
