i have a 360 full ofr games and a ps3 for the sony exclusives like gt5 , prologue , metal gear.
and i dont regret.

I agree, I can't see a hack ever coming out for the PS3.
I love my PS3 though and have had more than my moneys worth out of it on exclusives so I'm happy to own it.

oh dont get me wrong, i love my ps3, i've got about 20 titles bought for it. i'm just suprised to see NO hack. It would be a first in gaming... no?

Jenni, there's something about paying for games that makes me appreciate them more. I'm more than happy to play the majority of games for free on the 360 but it's funny how I'm more likely to finish a game or atleast put in a lot more time if I've bought it. I won't be dissapointed if it's never cracked.

I am actually dissapointed with my ps3, the only good titles i played are LBP, Drakes fortune & Heavenly Sword and there arent any other good titles i cant play on the Xbox 360, i'm still hoping it gets better. But thats just me.

If PS3 is not hacked and/or emulated longevity of its game library will suffer greatly. It's very hard to buy old games, most of the time you can only get questionable quality second hand ones that are overpriced. And if you live in a smaller country like me you have almost no chance to get older games.

not a hack as such, but I did hear a while back about the ps3 USB advance thingy... it apparantly lets you play backup 'PS2' image titles from an external HD. Never followed it up though as I only have the 40gb and figured it wouldn't be of any use for me anyway.
Also theres that tiff loader hack too that lets you play ps1 titles region free on the ps3. Don't know if either of those hacks work or not but sadly I haven't heard anything directly relating to the ps3 and the ability to play 'backup' titles. Hoping one day though the ps3 will be like the psp!.

How about...most PS3 games can easily fit on 2-4 DL DVDs. Just make an image of a game, split it to fit into DVDs, then copy contents to your PS3 hard drive. Mount the image with the blue-ray drive emulator (daemon-tools already can do it, but its for PC drives only, of course) and play. DL DVDs are cheap and wasting 2-4 to play the game seems very good solution to me, BUT you need a hack , which we don't have  |
Why oh why on eath would you need to put games onto 4 DVD's to copy onto the PS3? External HDD FTW!
Anyhoo, this is all wishfull thinking! There is no iso loader and there probably never will be.
