I'm looking for a quick way to convert the following files with the best quality: XVID, AVI, MKV (x264) Did I mention quick with best quality! Convertxtodvd, dvdsanta, etc.. I know this has probably been asked before and I've used RB Rebuilder with CCE encoder but I'm looking for a program that's quick and gives decent results. 1. it's quick OR good quality. you can't have both 2. speed depends on your pc, not the software, as long as you're using any halfway decent program to encode oh and next time, be so kind and choose a topic with a lil bit more meaning.

Your post sounds like you want to transcode MPEG4 files to MPEG2 and burn the resulting file to a Video-DVD? In this case stick to DVDRebuilder. If you want to create MPEG4 files to play on a PC take a look at MeGUI and www.doom9.org

Also check out handbrake - http://handbrake.fr/ IMHO it is more easy to use than MeGUI.
