Any other people who enjoy exploring the great underground empire?
I loved playing trough the grand inquisitor, and i am currently working on Zork 1 on my phone Mr. Green

i'd rather play some modern IF, these old text-only adventures were too labyrinthine and full of dead ends which you could easily reach by forgetting to pick up something, for example. they were cool back then, but now they're just too hardcore Smile

I remember those games....
But they were unplayable for me back then cause i was only 6-8 years old and english isnt my country language.

only the first chapters were text only, the grand inquisitor, return to zork, and zork nemesis were point and click

I loved Zork Nemesis (the game creeped me out once, late at night) and Return to Zork, but Grand Inquisitor felt too Americanized for my tastes. Zork Zero and Beyond Zork were quite innovative, but I've always though the Magnetic Scrolls text adventures were so much better written.

Anyone played that online zork thing? It's dull http://legendsofzork.com/
