Ok guys now that i have choosed AMD Athlon 64 Bit Processor then i need to have a Motherboard to go with it...

I have looked at these:

Asus K8N and Asus K8V

Im looking for cheap ones and some with quality, if u know what i mean Wink

I just read a review about the K8N in a german mag and it was positiv. They only said that the onboard sound isn't that good but i guess you have a soundcard anyway Smile. I would go for the nForce3 250 chipset (and not because it has the same name as this site Wink ). Why not go for the K8N-E (nforce3 250GB) with a pci-chip for sata-raid and firewire.
They said in the article that the via k8t800 has a slight problem because the southbridge vt8237 has a limit of 200 mbyte/s (that's for all (pci) devices connected to this bridge). So that would speak against the K8V. If you notice this "bottleneck" in real life - i don't know tbh.

Yeah see your point... It also have like 4 extra SATA... Though it's a little more expensive
