FEAR Combat is free and can be run very well on SM2 cards. Swat 4 (+exp) is also huge fun. Tribes Vengeance could be fun if you find a source to download from.

Nope, I checked the requirements. It should work on a 9600 pos.
That's the ATi 9600 pos I am referring to, not the nVidia one.

Why the " "? The Worms series is fantastic. Don't know why Armageddon is more popular than WWP in the W2D series, though. It has everything Armageddon has, plus more.

Wasn't there some (unofficial?) edition of Armageddon that had all the extra stuff from World Party added to it?

I had horrible issues getting world party to work on XP.
But fuck man, I LOVE the 2d worms games. That shit is just fucking ace to play all day. OYE NUTTA!!
Too bad good ole games didn't have those, I'd buy them in a heart beat |

3D and 4 - Mayhem were fantastic too. Don't know why people didn't like them as much, but they were great fun too. Controls were a bit sucky, but once you get used to them, they were as much fun as the 2D ones, sometimes even more.

I found the 3d ones to be more for milking the cow, you know? Oh hey those games were awesome! lets remake it into 3d!!! Sometimes 3d just isn't it. |

Yeah, but personally, I don't see anything wrong in milking the cow if done right. They were done right in my opinion, and added enough stuff to be interesting.

I didn't get too far in them cause I couldn't get into the controls.
