I had a nice SP2 VLK and recently updated to sp3 without problems. Today I wanted to update my system and wga tells me that my vlk is not to be used in my region! FUCK!
I have a german windows, what can I do now? What will happen if I reboot???

why would u even update to sp3 anyway, i know a lot of ppl who is using sp2 without any sort of updates for years, besides xp get's fucked in a about 6 month if u shit in the registry too much with installing and uninstalling stuff anyway, no reg cleaner will help in time

I was using one of those corporate/whatever keys for a looong time and it got screwed after SP3. Now I'm using an XP activation crack + genuine advantage crack.
You should google for antiwpa.
EDIT: Or you can use a keychanger to change your key if you have another "good" one.

I'm searching for good ones that work for my region 
And I tried to install antiwpa but antivir said it's a trojan.

Antivir says of lots of things they are trojans, consider using virustotal or smth like that to verify.

ok scanned, installed, nothing happened, still bugging me to buy it. fuck i had a key but thats on my external hd which I have given to my friend who is away for easter. damn. Well I always wanted to reinstall windows  Time has come...
Is there really no need for SP3??

Probably not. So far GTA4 is the only game/app that I know that needs SP3.

I'm getting it atm. Infact I managed to disable that wga notification by simply changing to another vl-key  Neither wpakill nor wpa_kill worked for me

Another way to get rid of wga notification is

and to be on safe side loopbacking mpa.one.microsoft.com is also recommended

And to fix the region problem on valid vl-key WGAF & GACK tools still work very good. Try googling for 3_WGAF and 4_GACk.

I had to change my key recently http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=51886
I used the key metioned there (GHHX8) and everything seems ok again now.

I simply deactivated windows via the regedit then got another vlk key ( google is your friend  )
and changed my key and all good now , no nagging and no need to reinstall

Yeah maybe where you live But I don't find any vlk that work for germany as wga checks if the VLK is legit in your region
