After dual booting into win7 and playing a little with it, I've returned to my trusty Vista and got a message saying it's not genuine. Now it says I must activate it today, plus some ultimate stuff stopped working.
Anyway, I've been out of the loop for a while concerning vista hacking, what can be done now without reinstalling it?
That's because installing Windows7 wiped the old bootloader, the HACKED bootloader which kept your WinVista running "legit" The same thing happened to me when I first installed Win7 as a dual-boot option.
It's an effortless fix; simply boot into Windows Vista - and reinstall the bootloader via whatever method you used the last time.
Don't worry about losing Win7, the "hacked" bootloader will still see it and make it available as a boot option.
Well, tried repeating the paradox trick I used with the asus certificate and all that, and it won't work again for some reason. So, what's else out there?
