Hey guys, sorry if the title mislead you Sad But I didn't know how to name it and since it is played on the PC(Emulator) I decided to post it in the PC section. Anyway, I might do a walkthrough video of RE 1, so I uploaded the first part as a test, and I figured out to post it here, cause Humpers always provide good feedback Cool Face I hope I didn't post in the wrong section and that I didn't fuck anything else up. So here it is, tell me how the quality of the recording is and other stuff, I think I'll do Part 2 soon.

Part 1:

Part 2:

hmm, when I first checked out the vid-yo it had a test pattern after the intro, but now it's normal 'n legit. Cool video though, though it was funny how you bailed out when the first zombie made his intro!

No, it's full speed so far, don't know later on at certain places. Only while recording with FRAPS it drops down to like 23-25 FPS in the hall, but otherwise stays at 30 FPS. What is your PC's spec? And what Dolphin revision are you using.

Yeah I've got pretty much the same PC, except for the GPU, mine is older. Go download Revision 7434. Then use these settings:

--------------------- General Settings ---------------------
* Basic settings ...................................... check "Enable Dual Core" and "Enable Idle Skipping"
* Advanced settings ............................... check "JIT recompiler"

--------------------- Display Settings ----------------------
* Choose fullscreen resolution
* Video backend .................................... Direct3D9
* Start Renderer in Fullscreen ................. Checked
* Hide mouse cursor .............................. Checked
* Use Panic Handlers .............................. Unchecked

--------------------- DirectX9 General ---------------------
* Aspect ratio ......................................... Auto
* Anisotropic filtering .............................. 16x
* Anti-Aliasing ........................................ 4x SSAA
* Load native mipmaps ........................... Checked
* Pixel Lighting ....................................... Checked
* Pixel Depth ......................................... Checked
* Force bi/trilinear filtering ...................... Checked
* EFB Scaled copy .................................. Checked
* EFB Scale ............................................ Integral
* Enable CPU access ............................... Unchecked
* Emulate format changes ....................... Unchecked
* EFB copy to ......................................... Texture
* Accurate Texture Cache ....................... Fast

---------------------- Wiimote settings ---------------------
* Emulated Wiimote extention .................. Nunchuck

-------------------------- Specifics --------------------------
* RE All - enabling "Accurate VBeam emulation" in game specific properties gives a nice speedup for most Resident Evil games.
* RE Code Veronica - in game's profile in Graphics plugin uncheck "EFB Copy" (otherwise you will see black background textures)

Yeah I tried it and it's working much better than before. The only problem now is some sound skipping, but it doesn't happen often and isn't really a big deal.

Sweet, I'm glad it helped. Very Happy As for the sound issue, I have it too in some cut scenes and I am not aware of any fix at the moment.

There should be more threads like this for seperate emulated games with settings on here, with settings and emulator version to use, better than trawling through the emulation thread for the info. Thanks for the useful tips/info m8 Very Happy

Tried to play this before but had some frame rate issues in some rooms too, will be good to test it out again with my new quad Very Happy

Quad doesnt matter to emulators.Videocards too.Dolphin use only two cores and max load to my 8800gts 512 that i see was about 45%...Emu wants two cores with as much as you can GHZ.And maybe cache,intel has benefits to that.Thats it.In fact last version of Dolphin was very good and with procesor at about 3.2-3.5ghz you will be able to play 80% of all games that you try with maxframerate.

Well, I have AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2 Ghz with 8mb Cache and the games run really good on the emu.
