I seen a early release but I heard it doesnt have Xvid or MKV support. I want to install the new dash, I am banned from live, but I want to be able to play vid files like xvid and mkv. I wonder if a full ver of NXE is out or will be out soon to put on a CD to be installed since im banned??? anyone know anything about this?

I've seen the "full" version a couple of weeks ago. (v2.0.7357.0) Atleast that is what it was at that time.
Anyhoo, you will still need to install the separate xvid support files. No way around that right now. I even had to reinstall it on one of my consoles that had it previously which I thought was really odd.

There will be new games in the future that will install it anyway. If you like it or not.

Still no subtitle support in this release. if you're banned then forget about xvid you have to be connected to live to download the media update.

i'll just stick with the old dash,, I only have a 20 gig hd anyways. Im buying a new 360 soon.

I think it's amazing. Installing games and 1680x1050 res. Oh yah!
