Waited for this movie a long time, i was planning to view it because of the awsome effects... and watch an awsome action movie but this is just something i didnt expect! its accualy a good and neat storyline.
I wont spoil anything you go watch for yourself if you like asian sci/fi future movies.

To bad the subs i got for it was messed up from time to time, so try to get other subs than those that follows with the "unknown" release.

Are the subs messed up in the Casshern.2004.NTSC.DVDR-FAG release?

Looks like a mixture of "Immortel","Mortal combat" & ..."Equlibrium",perhaps.
judging by the trailer.But I wanna watch this movie.
Oh went to IMDB & somebody said,that the flick reminded him Equilibrium as well.
We'll wait till it well translated & " officially" released.

Saw this a couple of days ago. Cool movie. Didn't notice anything wrong with the subtitles in the FAG release. This has the same look as the Sky Captain movie. A lot of it if not everything is shot against a blue/green screen. This is probably one of the closest movies to being an anime without actually being animated. I've seen it compared to Equlibrium a few times but I did not see the connection. This has a kind superhero guy. Thousands of robots, neo-sapiens and more. Movie is basically about war. Or about how one cannot win a war. Everyone pays the price. Great movie. A little long but always interesting.
